FALL is Spectacular here!!

Fall is absolutely spectacular here! The leaves are every color of green, red, orange and yellow you can imagine! I literally nearly drive off the road as I am traveling because I get ssooo caught up in what the hillsides look like. There are still beautiful hydrangeas and mums blooming among the leaves and it makes for breathtaking scenes!

BUT... Where there are leaves, there has to be leaf collectors:) This is what we have been spending our time doing. It is a LOVE /HATE relationship!

Doing Boston with the Swensons!

Visiting Boston was on the Swenson families bucket list. They are Red Sox fans and we got to tour the field and go to a game against the Yankees!

Gus and I stayed at the Hotel during the game. We had room service and shared chocolate cake. He loves it as much as his grandma!
Millie ran through the fountains in downtown Boston!

We visited the Memorial and had adventures in the woods on the property. I think the kids liked chasing the falling leaves and throwing rocks and sticks the very best!

We gathered a bouquet for the apartment. Ir made me think of my mother and gathering leaves with her every year:)

Summer flowers out... Fall flowers in

I feel like these are pictures of sadness:( It was so excruciatingly hard to pull out the summer flowers when many of them still looked so good! It had to happen so that we could get the mums in and established before the first frosts but after tending them for months, I just wanted to cry!
They delivered over 500 mums and it was a lot of work getting them in but I have to admit, now that they have bloomed, it looks great! Fall is in the air and the leaves are beautiful!
