Beauty and the Beast

This kind of beautiful snows falls down in large floating flakes. It can go on for hours and pile so high that it amazes you. Everywhere you look it appears like a picture postcard or some photograph from a magazine!

Then it starts to get heavy on the tree limbs and they begin to lean dangerously to one side

....And then the loud cracking noises start to echo in the forest and you hear great limbs and trees falling and crashing to the ground.

The destruction was amazing and everyday there are new casualties.
