Elder Harman and I were asked to tear down an old fence and build a split rail fence on top of Patriarch Hill. It will provide a viewing area for the core sampled 1770's tree that they call the Witness Tree. It was a lot of hard work and neither of us had any experience with split rail. We struggled a bit and I threatened to leave him buried beneath the witness tree if we didn't ask for a little advise on how to assemble it. After a little help and a couple of sweaty days we finished the project and were quite happy with how it turned out:)
